Emma Enticott
Emma is a registered nurse and midwife with 20 years of experience in the hospital healthcare system, and 5 ½ years in a perinatal support program for vulnerable women. She has a passion to walk with women and their families through the intense life-changing event it is to have a baby, and to give education, resources, support and time to ensure they feel valued, prepared and thrive in their journey into parenthood.
Emma is currently completing her Diploma of Counselling.
She is available to provide support to any woman who is:
pregnant or has a baby/toddler,
who feels alone and needs more support,
unsure how to navigate the healthcare system, or finds that there are gaps in the support they are offered or need help with education or further services.
She would love to be a contact for girls/women who find themselves unexpectedly pregnant, feeling vulnerable and confused about it and to support women who are experiencing bereavement due to miscarriage and stillbirth.
What kind of support is available?
Friendship, a listening ear, pregnancy/birth/postnatal education, practical support, attending appointments with you if needed, home visits, helping you find material resources and support from other relevant services.
Emma really wants the women she engages with to feel seen, heard, invested in and cared for, and to be encouraged that they are precious and valued, especially by Jesus who is altogether faithful.
