B.R.I.C.K.s stands for Building relationships in Christ Kingdom, which is the name of our Building Fund here at Follow Baptist Church. The reason we called our fund B.R.I.C.K.s is that it communicates the ultimate purpose of a future Church facility; to see people encounter and grow in Christ. Our vision is Jesus and we are determined to see Him lifted high over the Officer region and beyond.

A Church building will be one tool in the tool box to help drive that vision long term. We see a building being like an epi-centre where the activities that occur at the facility will be used supernaturally by God to reverberate through our community and throughout eternity. Buildings don’t change people, but what happens inside them has, does and will for many years to come.

We want the FBC Facility to be a place where it will be constantly buzzing with Church ministry, as well as community engagement. We want people to want, and at times need, to come to our building and we believe that the first step many take towards God, will be the first step they take into our building; whether it is for a coffee at the café, a worship service in the auditorium or to have a need met during the week in one of the multi-purpose areas.

We are truly excited about what God is doing in our midst and we believe the most fruitful days are still ahead. To establish a facility that will meet the worship needs of a growing church and become a community HUB of blessing is a big step of faith. It will require the sacrificial generosity of God’s people as well as the supernatural provision of a God who can do all things.
