Cardinia Shire - 2020 Council Elections

2020 Candidates for each ward of Cardinia Shire, and how to contact each of them.

Cardinia Shire Wards from 2020

In 2020 the Cardinia Shire wards are changing from the current three: Central Ward, Port Ward and Ranges Ward. From the 2020 election the shire will be divided up into nine.

Our council has some great tools to help you work out which ward you live in. Click here to search your address on the Community Compass. Once you've loaded the compass, search your address in the search field in the top left of the page.

Council has also provided us with a map of the shire.

Wards representatives from 2020

There's also a change with how our wards are represented on council. From this election each ward will only have one representative each.

Our nine councillors from 2020 will be one representative from each ward.

Therefore from this year it is important we take seriously who is standing for our ward, and how we choose to use our vote. May we each use our votes wisely.

More information about the ward changes can be found on the VEC website here

I have decided to run as a candidate for the Cardinia council. I believe that councils first priority is the things we expect as ratepayers. It is critical that council delivers on basics first and foremost, our roads, rates rubbish because this is the standard expectation of council.
